About 2 weeks ago, I met with Chief Superintendent Gilbert Sosa of PNP CIDG and Project Angel Net to explore partnership in promoting cyber wellness to online users and kids’ online safety in particular.

We discussed several initiatives and the result of the 1st collaboration will be implemented on September 13, 2o11. Web Safety Philippines in partnership with Blog and Soul will conduct “cyber wellness train the trainer” for PNP CIDG Personnel.

About 30 PNP CIDG personnel from various division will get education from topics ranging from social media and cloud computing, effects to Filipino Society and incidents of abuses.

Resource persons include Juned Sonido, one of the founders of Blog and Soul,  Carlo Ople, Social Media Manager of TV 5 and EIC of New Media PH and Unbox, and Marlon Guzman, President and owner of Solidhosting.ph . Angeli Aboloc will be the master of the program.

    This is DR E LLANTO. I am a member of the Society of Adolescent Medicine of the Phil, a group dedicated to promote adolescent health. I was invited by the Child Protection Net (CPN) to help with a symposium on Cybersafety fo children and adolescents this coming December .

    I noted that you will be attending some sort of training, can you pls direct me to this? we are looking for reource persons to do some lectures, too
